Our mission is to cultivate a safe haven in the heart of the jungle—where individuals thrive in harmony with nature. A place of repose, retreat, and renewal where each member is free to live their jungle dream.

Who We Are

Amethyst Belize was founded by Eugene Meyer in 2010 when it was raw jungle. His vision and hard work over the years turned this into an opportunity for living a simpler life close to nature.

No other community in the area offers small plots for your residence and personal space while opening up the farm for everyone to participate in, use, and even monetize, for those involved.

With over 150 different varieties of food, fruit, and productive trees (hardwoods) this property is an investment in your health, well-being, and long-term investment.

The fruit and food has been income producing to add in shared community costs.

Eco-Farm

Our vision is sustainable health living with and on the land. Whether you choose to participate in growing and eating off the land is up to you, but the opportunity is available.

Permaculture and food forest practices have been implemented producing over 150 varieties of plants cultivated and adapted to our needs and local conditions. The lush rainforest property is highly suitable for growing.

The following are just some of the plants growing in our Eco-Farm: Coconut Palms, Papayas, Pineapples, Bananas, Figs, Cacao, Molly Apples, Rambutans, Ginger, Turmeric, , Tangerines, Sugar Cane, Casava, Avocado, Mango, Citrus, Lime, Black Beans, Corn, Watercress, Spinach, Cacao, Mahogany Trees.

Participating in community garden space is fully optional.
